Random Sunny Thoughts this past week

(Random Sunny Thoughts are: thoughts &/or ideas I've been thinking about recently but haven't had the time to blog about. **sigh**)

** Dear Brett Favre, Please go away. I am tired of seeing and hearing about you. Your prima donna ways are accentuated in your old age. Hattiesburg, MS needs you. They want you. Please. Please. Be gone!!

**Do you ever wonder why? Why about this or why about that. Sometimes it's good to ask that question as searching may bring resolution. But at other times, you can't find the "why answer" and frustration mounts all the more. Why? =)

**Senior year starts kicking into high gear. Our oldest son recently went on his senior retreat. Part of the retreat is the parents write letters to their child and it is presented to them during the retreat. I stressed out about it before I wrote it. I need not have. After he got back, he didn't say a word. Hmm. I wonder if that is good or bad. **sigh**

**Halloween on a Sunday just doesn't work. I know I can't change it. But something about it being on Sunday just felt very odd to me. Maybe it's because football was on. And soccer. And baseball. All at the same time tonight. I don't know. I guess I'm just weird that way. {On a better note, my grandson was a stoplight. Everyone absolutely LOVED his costume. I'll post pics later....when I'm not ready for bed.}

**I have to work in the office for the next couple of months. Normally, I work from home, but my bosses have asked me to assist with another department during November & December. (((( cue the silence here ))))

**Can't wait to visit Arizona soon. We will be able to see my family for more than just a day or two. Here's hoping that the weather is warm.

**I dropped my phone this week. Had to break down & go get a new one. With money I don't have. Maybe a 2nd job is in order.

**Really can't wait to go to Arizona. Did I say that already? I sooooo can't wait.

**WARNING: POLITICAL & 'RELIGIOUS' TALK.  I am amazed at how when discussing politics or "religion", many people refer to "being open-minded". And yet, these very same people, will only vote for one political party or they only want "religion" their way (i.e. they believe in god the way the want & how they want & don't tell me how/what to believe). How exactly can you be "open-minded" if you're not "open" to an opposing viewpoint? If you only vote Republican, then you won't listen to anything the Democrats say, even if they have something valid to say. And vice-versa. Likewise, those you don't like/hate so-called "religious" or church-going people, they tune out any valid points that are biblically-based. Why? Because it doesn't fit in their comfort realm. There may be valid reasons for believing what you believe. BUT--do not complain about those who oppose you as being close-minded if you're not willing to listen.

**(CONTINUED): How exactly can a Christian be lined up with either political party when both parties are so corrupt? How can any logical, normal thinking person be lined up with either political party when all both parties are about is POWER? They're not truly "servants" of the people if their primary reason for running is so "THEY CAN CHANGE" the government. That's bogus. If it was truly about serving the people, we wouldn't have huge deficits. We wouldn't have huge salary pay raises for political leaders. We wouldn't have bills signed into law that the majority of Americans disagree with. It's not about serving your country. It's about he who has the most power wins.

((I had better quit before I go off even more. Must be all of those political phone calls we keep getting. Really? Can't they just go away. Shouldn't those be part of the DO NOT CALL LIST.))

Until next time,
RSPS Sunny
