A variety of things I've been thinking this past week.
**My youngest is growing too fast. He will be 9 in a couple of weeks. I so just want to enjoy these moments.
**My oldest son will be going to college at this time next year. Right when we are about done paying off the house, we will be starting to pay for college.
**There is no such thing as governing. There's only politics. Pushing through of party agendas at the expense of the people.
**The church in America doesn't have a clue. But neither do the atheists, agnostics, buddhists, muslims, hindus, etc....
**It's been hot here lately. Not as hot as Arizona though. I must be a full "blooded" Washingtonian now--I think 80 is hot and turn on the air conditioning in my van.
**Finished a book on Nat King Cole. Talented. Innovative. Yet flawed as any other human being. Legacy of music.
**It's a good thing there isn't a mirror right in front of us following our every move. I'm pretty sure mine would have been broken thousands of times in the past week.
**Sometimes, being a woman really sucks.
**Sometimes, being a woman is really awesome.
**Ever wonder if what you are doing is really right?
**Ever want to do something that's really wrong & not regret it.
**I so want to tell certain people off sometimes. Pompous & arrogant in their ways. Where is that mirror that's supposed to be following them??? =)
**I'm pretty sure there are people in my life who want to tell me off too.
**Feel like my efforts go wasted on those who just dont' give a darn.
**And yet, I know that I am blessed. I have a roof over my head., clothes for my back, food for my family, vehicles to drive, a job to pay the bills & freedom to worship God. I lack for nothing. I am humbled by His mercy toward me despite how wicked I can be. I bow at His grace for I can truly be a wretch. Amazing Grace.
